From June and August, the weather in Rhodes is reliably at its hottest and temperatures stay anywhere
between 28°C and 40°C. The summer nights are warm, but not usually uncomfortable. Rhodes's weather in Autumn: September enjoys great weather and can really be classed as a summer month, since daytime temperatures in Rhodes island are frequently in the high 20s and the thermometer never falls much below the high teens. The month also enjoys an excellent 11 sunshine hours per day. Autumn rains usually start (sporadically) from October / November onwards. The feeling is much like spring, except that the fields are now brown and the sea is still warm from summer. Winter swimming has gained in popularity in recent years.

The winter's weather in Rhodes can best be described as mild but wet. A mixture of bright, warm days
interspersed with long periods of heavy rain, sometimes horizontal with Beaufort 8+ winds. Snow (apart from the last 3 years!) is rare, although it can be seen on the higher mountains. Day temperatures around Rhodes
are usually 10-20°C, although it can feel a lot colder in the wind and rain, and at night it can sometimes dip as low as 5°C. Winter in Rhodes can be quite wet, most of the yearly rainfall occurs between October and February.
